Meet the 2023–24 CASBS Class

The Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University is proud to announce its 2023–24 class

CASBS is renowned for nurturing pioneering research and exploration of societal challenges and questions. The cornerstone is the Center’s residential fellows program, featuring a multidisciplinary set of scholars who are among the leaders of their respective fields. Some 2,700 fellows have flourished on the Center’s beautiful hilltop campus since 1954.

Current and former fellows form an enduring scholarly community like no other. Brought together for one academic year, the 2023–24 class arrived at the Center at the same time as its new director, Sarah Soule. Together they join to advance a storied legacy and guide a celebrated institution into its next, and greatest, chapter of excellence.
